Poultry Account Manager

FIELD SALES & CUSTOMER SUPPORT:

1. Ability to visit selected current customers and prospective customers to identify opportunities for sales of Devenish technologies and Nutritional services.
2. Identify customer wants and needs, and provide knowledge and support of associated Devenish technology to add value to customers and increase sales for Devenish.
3. Become knowledgeable with competitor products and services and assist in determining how to differentiate Devenish's offerings.
4. Manage select key accounts across a given territory for all poultry species.
5. Assist with training and development with new Devenish staff if needed

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT:

1. Understand nutritional aspects and technical value of all Devenish technologies.
2. Work with admin and operations staff to aid in efficient customer service.
3. Research product or service offering opportunities.

RESEARCH, MARKETING & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT:

1. Participate in Poultry Sales Meetings to determine research priorities and opportunities.
2. Work with Marketing, Sales, and Technical staffs to provide reliable and accurate marketing materials as required for your customer's needs.
3. Participate in product development discussions with Devenish Nutrition team.
4. Identify market opportunities and discuss with Devenish Nutrition team how we can develop a solution for market needs.

QUALIFYING SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

• Highly driven, self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset
• A deep technical understanding of the challenges faced by modern Poultry producers and experience in positioning feed additives towards these needs
• Experience working with Broiler, Turkey and Layer accounts in the USA
• High level of diplomacy, negotiating skills but constructive assertiveness
• Commercial mindset and experience in project management
• Strong analytical skills and an ability to balance many different tasks and issues as any given time
• Ability to travel to support team and customers where and when needed.
• BSc in Poultry/Animal Science degree is ideal (an advanced degree is preferred but not required)

This Position will report to our Poultry Sales Director.
