Dr. Muhammed Shameer Abdul Rasheed Joins Devenish
Please help Devenish welcome our newest addition to the Poultry Research Team, Dr. Muhammed Shameer Abdul Rasheed as our new Poultry Research Assistant! With the additional knowledge of Dr. Rasheed, we look forward to growing our research capabilities and continue to bring value to the ever - evolving poultry industry.
Dr. Rasheed acquired his Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry in 2012 at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Science University in India. After working as an associate veterinarian, Dr. Rasheed moved to the U.S. to complete his Master of Science in Poultry Science at the University of Arkansas. He obtained a Doctorate in Animal Science with an emphasis on poultry nutrition at the University of Illinois.
He has spent the last four years as a graduate research assistant at Ryan Dilger Lab, University of Illinois. Dr. Rasheed's wealth of knowledge regarding poultry science is evidenced by his graduate research focusing on poultry nutrition, health management and disease prevention. Outside of work, he enjoys biking with friends and family.
