Devenish adds a new member to its Swine Research Team by hiring Dr Yuan-Tai Hung

The research team at Devenish is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Yuan-Tai Hung to drive the future of swine research trials. His primary responsibilities will be to plan, conduct and analyze trials that focus on creating solutions that are relevant to swine producers in the North America market.
Yuan-Tai Hung completed his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Animal Science at Tunghai University and National Chung Hsing University, and his Ph.D. in swine nutrition and digestive physiology at the University of Minnesota. He worked as a Post-Doc researcher in the Integrated Animal System Biology team, the University of Minnesota where he took a holistic approach to discover the connections between nutrients, physiology, and metabolism that drive animal growth and health.
Yuan-Tai Hung comes to Devenish with more than 7 years of experience in mono-gastric animal nutrition research. As a Swine Research Manager, Yuan-Tai is responsible for swine research trials that focus on the challenges facing our pork producers today. Yuan-Tai also interacts directly with research, marketing & product development teams to provide solutions that can optimize nutritional efficiency and animal health.
Yuan-Tai is originally from Taipei, Taiwan and currently lives in Fairmont, MN. In his spare time, Yuan-Tai enjoys visiting museums, attending theater performances, cooking Asian dishes, hiking, and enjoying a variety of foods.
