Formulation of diets should be easy. Any formulation package contains a matrix of information on the nutrient concentration and costs of a range of available feed ingredients. As long as there are pig farms there will always be small/vulnerable piglets. We can research into the facts of how and why these occur, but in actual fact it is quite clear that as performance and production of our sows increase, so will the number of smaller piglets born.

The seminars took place in 5 venues throughout GB and Ireland, with shows in East Anglia, the Midlands, Cookstown, Clonmel and Mullingar.
